proper aligned position, while offering many adjustable features.

Custom-Fitted AFO
The PRAFO AFO Kodel Ankle Support keeps the ankle and foot aligned to treat muscle weakness and imbalance. Eliminating pressure or friction on the heel can help enhance blood circulation which is vital to healing. The dynamic flex action applies continuous counterforce pressure to the sole of the foot.
Helps Control Dorsiflexion
The AFO allows for optimal dorsi- and plantar-flexion ankle positioning to provide adequate clearance during swing phase and knee stability in stance phase. The custom-contoured aluminum heel connector bar helps to control dorsi-plantar flexion by allowing infinite, measurable adjustments. Fits into a standard shoe, the plastic splint can be trimmed or molded with heat.
Pediatric or Adult Sizes
The splint offers many adjustable features, beneficial for the ambulatory and non-ambulatory patient. Available in pediatric or adult size options, it uses a Velcro strap on the shin and 3 Velcro straps on the upper foot. This allows the calf, foot, and heel area to slowly gain range of motion over time.
