The talking functions of this watch also says the date and has a daily alarm you can set if desired. When you press the top right 2 o'clock button it will announce the time. If you press that button a second time it will then say the date in the following format, "20, April, Monday."
The button to open the face of the watch, for learning the time tactually, is located on the lower right hand side of the watch case just above where the band is attached to the watch case. Press that button and the watch face will pop open from the 6 o'clock position.
