The Walker Hand Splint is a soft walker cuff that solves the issue of positioning weak hands. A weak hold can cause your hand to slip off the grip and out of position, limiting control and support. In addition, injury can occur when your hand slips out of position. The Walker Hand Splint securely holds your hand in place at a mild to moderate flexor tone.
Maintaining Proper Wrist Alignment
Use this splint to eliminate the difficult problem of positioning a “hemi” hand on your walker. This splint allows your wrist to maintain proper alignment and bear weight in the proper parts of your hand. The malleable aluminum core allows the splint to be molded to fit your hand and walker. The Walker Hand Splint is available in left and right options.
Hook and Loop Strapping
With included hook and loop strapping, the Walker Hand Splint stays securely attached during use. The criss-cross straps easily secure the hand, and the comfortable, padded terry cover keeps your skin protected and dry. This cover is removable and easy to wash. Simply hand wash the cover in warm soap and water, and air dry.
