This CA-AX sensor transmitter detects the alarm sounds of virtually all your audio smoke, gas, and fire alarms. This even works with the new alarms with T3 or T4 type alarm sounds. The CA-AX sends a wireless signal to activate the CA-360 (731041) or the CA-RX (731042) to alert you of an activated sound within your household.
Install it next to your existing alarms for sound detection or connect it directly to your alarms for activation.
This audio alarm operates on 2 AA batteries, not included. It has a test button and a low battery indicator which transmits the battery status to your CentralAlert master unit.
* Note: The CA-AX, together with the CA-360, only alerts you to the activation of your audio alarms such as smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, it is not intended to replace or be part of your fire protection system.
