Used to measure blood-oxygen saturation and pulse rate, Sammons Preston Finger Pulse Oximeter accommodates the widest range of finger sizes from pediatric to adult. This finger pulse oximeter provides accurate readings within seconds making it the ideal device for non-invasive spot checks. Commonly used as a parameter for the respiratory circulation system, normal pulse oximeter readings usually range from 95 to 100 percent.

Developed to increase patient care, this pulse oximeter is widely applied in clinics, hospitals, and pediatric offices. It can be used to evaluate if a patient needs help breathing, to assess how well a new lung medication or ventilator is working, or to assess a patient’s ability to tolerate increased physical activity. Placed on a finger, the pulse oximeter measures changes of light absorption in oxygenated or deoxygenated blood to determine oxygen saturated levels and and heart rate.

Features Dual-Color OLED Six-Mode Display

The Finger Pulse Oximeter shows the SpO2, pulse rate, pulse bar, and plethysmogram on its dual color, high resolution OLED (organic light emitting diode) six-mode display. The horizontal screen is a more user-friendly design, making it easier to self-monitor and observe the displayed values. Using two AAA-batteries, the finger pulse oximeter can operate continuously for 30 hours.
