Designed to connect light cords to a light source for inspection, the Light Cord Adapters assist healthcare workers with testing the integrity of light cords for intensity of light and fiber optic damage. Simply, choose the appropriate light cord adapter, attach to the light cord, and secure together. Then, attach the light source to the light cord adapter and secure together. Click the button on top of the light source, choosing between a high, medium, or low light to check for the intensity of light at the end of the light cord, as well as inspecting for defects. Next, check for fiber optic damage in the light cord. If any defects or damage are identified, remove the light cord from service. The Light Cord Adapters are offered for the following light cords: Storz, Stryker, ACMI, and Wolf. The Light Cord Adapters are available for individual purchase.
