Made of a thermoset material known for its insulation, flammability resistance, and durability, this state-of-the-art splint bath is the first of its kind. The full-color, beveled, touch screen interface displays precise water temperatures, heating time, and menu options; making it easy to understand and use. A stainless steel hinged bi-fold lid provides easy access from three sides. With the inside tub dimension of 12” x 19” x 6”, it’s large enough for all your splinting needs.
Innovative Features
The internal heat exchanger is immersed directly in the water basin and heats water in less than 30 minutes, with minimal thermal lag and uniform heat distribution. Auto on/off settings preheat the water to reach a set temperature on a set day and time. Ready when your clinic opens and energy efficient at night when not in use. Preset settings are factory installed temperature and time suggestions that are specific to the thermoplastic selected, and custom thermoplastic settings allow the user to customize their own settings. A built-in water level sensor turns off the pan when the water level is too low, and audio and visual alerts notify you when heating time is done.
Dual Disinfection
The only splint bath designed with two built-in methods of disinfection, UV-C germicidal kill, and high-heat sanitation cycle, to keep patients safe and meet regulatory compliance. An internal pump cycles water over the UV light to effectively sterilize microbes. The high heat sterilization cycle increases the water temperature to an extreme high heat for 5 minutes to kill microbes. The two methods combined have a 99.9% kill rate of introduced microorganisms, including COVID-19.
