Oval-8 Finger Splints

The NEW Oval-8 CLEAR Finger Splints offer a new “colorless” choice for a nearly invisible finger splint.

Made from the same molds, the Classic Beige Oval-8 Splint and the Oval-8 CLEAR Finger Splints offer the same support, control and comfort. The Oval-8 CLEAR splints are made from a unique co-polyester material that offers a bit more strength and less resistance against the skin than the Classic Beige Splints.

Oval-8 splint are designed to apply 3 points of control, to stabilize, realign, rest and immobilize the IP joints of the fingers and thumb.  Each Oval-8 Finger Splint can be turned on the finger to manage Mallet Finger, stabilize Swan Neck and Boutonniere Deformities, relieve Trigger Finger/Thumb, realign Lateral Deviation, protect Arthritis, Fractures and limit Hypermobility (Ehlers-Danlos syndrome).

Each splint features a slightly looser or more secure fit by simply changing which end of the splint goes on the finger first. The Plus+ sign on one end of the oval section indicates the end that supplies a looser fit. Putting the other end on first will provide a tighter or more secure fit. Oval-8 splints can also be adjusted by a health care professional experienced in using a heat gun to achieve a customized fit.

Choosing the correct size is key to an effective outcome. The best way to fit the splints is with the splints themselves. The difference between sizes is very small and having multiple sizes available allows a quick switch to another size if swelling, temperature or time of day affect finger size. Available in Single Size packages, Multi-Size Combo Sets with 5 consecutive sizes and in a Sizing Set that includes one of each of the 14 sizes.

* Both the Beige and the CLEAR splints are made in the same molds but use a different material. The fit may vary slightly between the beige and the clear splints due to the different surface feel of the two plastics. Oval-8 CLEAR Finger Splints are patent pending.
