NoIR filters can help people minimize eye discomfort and maximize visual resolution. Filter shade number 07 - dark amber - provides infrared protection in addition to 100% ultraviolet protection. These sunglasses allow in 3% of visible light and they are an all-purpose filter color with good glare reduction and natural color rendition. These also feature blue blocker protection. This filter has been recommended for those with Retinitis Pigmentosa.
This standard fit-over style frame may be worn over most prescription frames or worn alone. The entire body of these fit-over sunglasses are made out of this same filter color. It features side shields with temple lapped construction to keep out extraneous light and wind and it has curved temple pieces for a non-slip fit.
Standard size (#U) measures 145mm x 145mm x 54mm (5.71" x 5.71" x 2.13").
