Correct Way to Fit Surgical Blades
Grasp the blade in the jaws of the forceps or needle holder at a 45-90 degree angle
Do not grip blade with forceps or needle holder across cutting edge of the blade
While holding on to the spine of the blade just above the blade slot with forceps or needle holder, insert handle into blade track and slide blade back onto handle until it snaps into position
