This Explor? 5 is a small lightweight CCTV that can be used anywhere to magnify small print to your visual preferences. The retractable handle can be used as a stand so that you can rest it on your reading material and comfortably read from 2X to 22X magnification with great clarity on this 5" WVGA screen. This unit will enlarge and sharpen text and it will allow you to change the contrast and color enhancement of whatever you are reading or viewing. It can also be attached to your HD television with an HDMI cable, not included but sold in most electronics stores.
This is the lightest and simplest 5" display portable electronic magnifier available. It has a retractable handle that can be opened sideways so that you can hold this unit in one hand as you would a normal lens magnifier. The Explor? can also be used hands-free if you open the handle vertically and stand the Explor? 5 directly upon your reading or viewing material.
Features:
- Magnifier (2X to 22X) mode allows you to zoom in and zoom out with the press of a button.
- 5 contrast combinations for viewing comfort: Full color, Black on white, White on black, Black on yellow, and Yellow on black by pressing the contrast button.
- More contrast combinations are available involving orange, cyan, purple, green and you can set your favorite contrast mode within the menu of this unit.
- Add horizontal lines or blinds to what your reading if desired.
- Freeze an image to zoom in on. Great for taking snapshots of higher store shelves, street signs, etc.
- Connect the Explor? 5 to a TV with a larger screen with a simple HDMI cable (not included).
- A USB cable is provided so that you can export images you have saved to the Explor Gallery to a computer.
- Rechargeable battery takes only 3 1/2 hours for a full charging. The usb cable (included) can be used to charge with your computer or with its plug in power supply (included) at an electrical outlet.
