ComfortellTM combines an absorbent layer with a selectively permeable barrier that keeps out contaminants while allowing the wound to breathe. It can be a primary dressing over postoperative sites, sutures or skin tears, and can also be applied as a secondary dressing with impregnated gauzes, wound fillers and enzymatic ointments.
