Support Without Limiting Finger Function

The Comfort Cool Thumb CMC Restriction Splint provides direct support to the thumb CMC joint without limiting full finger function. This CMC brace features a firm insert inside the thumb strap that can be molded to contour to the thenar eminence crease for support. The thumb splint is ideal for treating users with thumb deformities and contractures due to neurological conditions, as well as median nerve injuries or arthritis where the thumb is held abducted against the palm.

Comfortable Compression

The CMC thumb splint uses a thumb wrap to provide support and compression that abducts and stabilizes the first metacarpal and opens the thumb web space. The Comfort Cool brace is made with latex-free, antimicrobial material that is non-irritating to the skin during daily use. The brace for the CMC joint can be hand washed and air dried for simple cleaning.

Appropriate Sizing

The Comfort Cool thumb splint is available for a variety of hand sizes. It is available in Plus sizes that are half a size bigger in the hand and a full size bigger in the thumb circumference to accommodate enlarged thumb conditions. For the correct size, measure the MCP circumference.
