The Chrisofix® Universal Resting Orthosis for Wrist & Hand provides immobilization of the wrist, hand, and long fingers after injuries. It is ideal for conservative treatment in tendonitis, inflammation, and degenerative diseases of the wrist, hand, and long fingers. It can even be used as a resting splint during the rehabilitation phase following surgery or fixation with plaster of Paris. This orthosis designed for nighttime use adds extra immobilization and stability to the affected area. When used during the day, it limits movement during daytime activities to promote efficient resting in the injured wrist, hand, and fingers.

The Nighttime Universal Resting Orthosis is designed with high-quality, medical-grade materials to support the injured limb while maintaining comfort throughout the night. The Chrisofix® orthosis is made to deliver unparalleled stability for therapeutic use with a built-in corrugated aluminum core embedded in a cotton-laminated foam liner. It is finished with a velour-coated polyethylene foam top for comfortable, breathable support during the day and night. The Premium Forte version adds an aluminum strap for a POP-like stable circular fixation with more advanced stability.

Contoured Fit

Made with an aluminum core, the Chrisofix® orthoses are designed to contour to the affected area. Initial rough adjustments (such as bending) should be made on a non-injured limb of similar size. Fine adjustments and further modifications, such as after reducing soft tissue swelling, can be done without removing the orthosis. To size, measure the width of the palm.
