Immobilize the Elbow and Forearm

In cases where it is necessary to fixate the elbow following an injury or operation, the Chrisofix® Universal Elbow and Wrist Orthosis helps alleviate unnecessary stress or strain on the injury. It allows a moderate degree of motion in the elbow from 90° to 110° and prevents pronation and supination in the elbow and forearm following injuries and surgery. It is especially helpful in managing acute and chronic inflammatory conditions of the affected area and maintaining stabilization throughout the night.

Moldable Aluminum Core

The Universal Elbow and Wrist Orthosis is designed to deliver reliable stability and comfort during use. To limit the movement of the elbow, the Chrisofix® orthosis integrates a corrugated aluminum core that is moldable to fit the unique contours of each patient. Surrounded by layers of medical-grade cotton and velour-coated polyethylene foam, the orthosis remains breathable while providing a protective barrier that helps reduce reinjuring the affected area. For enhanced stability, the Premium Forte version includes an aluminum strap, delivering advanced POP-like circular fixation.

Hygienic Use and a Conforming Fit

Chrisofix® orthoses provide enhanced convenience for daily hygiene and allow for a secure fit every time. The splints can be easily removed, washed, and reapplied in just minutes. Each Chrisofix® orthosis features an adjustable core for a custom fit tailored to the affected area. Fine-tuning and readjustments after soft tissue swelling decreases can be performed without taking off the orthosis. Measure from the elbow to the base of the fingers for appropriate sizing.
