Thumb Aid Orthosis

The Chrisofix® Thumb Orthosis aids in fixation of the metacarpophalangeal (basal) joint of the thumb in case of injuries (strain or sprain), following surgery, inflammation (tenosynovitis), and in degenerative diseases. The “functional” fixation minimizes the risk of developing limited range of motion in the fingers and aids pain relief. The Premium Forte version offers an aluminum containing strap to ensure a POP-like, stable, circular fixation of the thumb.

High-Quality Materials

Chrisofix® splints provide excellent stability while ensuring exact fitting and freedom of movement for the unaffected joints, thereby helping to avoid overfixation. It includes textile straps and medical-grade Velcro, complemented by layers of medical-grade cotton and foam, perforated for added breathability. A Corrugatech aluminum core with moldable memory metal provides customized support, while a laminated velour coat allows for comfort during daily use.
