Custom Programming

The Endurance E500 Premium Elliptical Trainer offers six custom program options. The six preset program modes include Mountain, Hill, Random, Interval Speed Training, Interval, and Interval Mountain. In addition to these modes, this elliptical includes five heart rate control programs and two user profile modes. The heart rate programs are designed to change resistance to keep your heart rate at a set level. The two user profiles allow you to customize and save an exercise session.

Heart Rate Control

Each E500 Premium Elliptical Trainer includes Heart Rate Contacts and a Heart Rate Control Chest Strap to use in combination with the 5 HRC programs. The strap is able to send your heart rate information directly to the display console for processing. The Heart Rate program is designed with a specific goal in mind, and will adjust accordingly. These modes includes % Target Heart Rate, HR 80 (cardio), HR 65% (fat burn), HR Hill (65-75-85%), and HR INT (hill interval).

Display Console

The display console includes four parts: message window, profile window, lap display, and program modes. The message window displays the program names, messages, time, distance, speed, stride per minute, calories, pulse, resistance level, and calories burned per hour. The profile window displays program profile, resistance bar, heart rate bar, and the lap progress display and counter. The lap display shows your progress on a virtual track, and the resistance level. The program modes include a quick-start option, 6 preset program modes, 5 HRC programs, and two user profile modes.

Warranty

The manufacturer's warranty covers the frame, parts, electronics, wear parts, and labor. The frame is under a 15 year warranty. All parts are covered for three years. The electronics, excluding the batters, are under a two year warranty. The wear parts are covered for 6 months, and labor is covered for one year.
