Designed to withstand a weight capacity of 1000 pounds, the Bariatric Drop-Arm Commode uses heavy-duty construction to give patients with limited mobility and weak lower extremities a safe place to rest. The sturdy gray powder-coated steel construction provides users with security that is easy to maintain. A 12-quart commode bucket and cover easily slide on and off from behind. The open area underneath the commode allows for it to fit over an existing toilet or be used as a toilet safety frame.
Accommodates Lateral Transfers
The Bariatric Drop-Arm Commode provides bedridden or wheelchair users with safe and comfortable lateral transfers. The commode features an easy-release drop arm that rotates without the use of additional tools. The padded armrests allow users to have a safe place to grab, making sitting and standing easier. It is also equipped with a deeper and wider seat and a large backrest for more comfortable everyday use.

Ideal for those recovering from surgery or those too weak or unable to walk to the bathroom independently, the Bariatric Drop-Arm Commode accommodates a wide range of patients. The seat height adjusts from 17-1/2" - 22" and features a seat dimension of 23-1/4" W x 18-1/2" D. The extra wide seat and frame provide a width of 25-3/4" between the arms. Each leg is capped with non-slip rubber tips to prevent movement when in use.
