Drop-Arm Mechanism Allows Safe Lateral Transfers

This bariatric commode features an easy-to-release arm mechanism to allow for safe lateral patient transfers to and from commode. The commode can be used at a patient's bedside as a toilet safety frame or as a raised toilet. Constructed of a welded polyester-coated steel frame that is sturdy and durable enough to support up to 700 lbs. The rubber ferrules at the bottom of each leg provide added stability and prevents the chair from moving on slippery surfaces.

Features Commode Bucket and Splash Guard

The drop-down arms are padded to provide extra comfort as well as a sturdy surface to grab onto when lowering or rising from the seat. The commode has a toilet seat measuring 18" deep and an extra-wide 25.2" width between the arms. In addition, the toilet aid includes a large 12-quart commode bucket with a plastic cover and splash guard that can be easily removed. The pail easily slides in from the front of the commode.

Height Adjustable Legs Accommodate Most Users

In addition to the blow molded armrests, the bariatric commode adjusts in overall height from 26"-31" and 16"- 23" H from the floor to the seat. The adjustable height legs can help individuals with limited range of motion use the toilet aid more safely and independently. Quick to assemble, the commode is easy to clean and disinfect between uses.
