- Use this test to assess langauge-related functional activities in 30 to 90 minutes
- Consists of 10 subtests, each of which assesses a different functional activity: telling time, counting money, addressing an envelope, solving daily math problems, writing a check and balancing a checkbook, understanding medicine labels, using a calendar, reading instructions, using the telephone and writing a phone message
- While the patient performs each activity, the test administrator records an objective, quantitative score
- Subtests require the use of all langauge modalities, as well as cognitive and motor skills; also allow for the observance of multiple cognitive processes, which can help eliminate administering specialized tests in certain areas
- Includes examiner's manual, picture book, 25 profile/examiner record forms and an additional materials kit (tokens, chart, envelopes)
